Handmade by craftsmen in Shetland, this traditional Shetland pony klibber is the ideal way to let your pony help you around the farm. Handcarved in pine, then padded with 1" wool felt, English bridle leather girth straps including a cotton web girth and a D-ring fitted at the back for use with a crupper (not supplied). (Please note that the one featured is our well-used and much loved klibber. We have altered the design slightly due to customer feedback. Our's has a tenon joint but the ones sold will have a lap joint.) The Shetland klibber can be used with either haynets or traditional kishies (woven baskets). This pack saddle is a beautiful, authentic piece of Shetland craftsmanship made in the islands and specifically designed to fit wide workmanlike ponies!
