Col-late (foal colostrum) - £40.67 - though scarily expensive, this is important and vital if you want the best start for your foal if you can get no colostrum from the mare.

5kg Bag of Multimilk - £19.18

From Harbro, Lerwick: (takes a week or so)

Dodson & Horrell Equilac - foal replacement milk - £37.00

This is not a cheap method and you, as a breeder, have to weigh up the pros and cons of committing to a long and arduous journey with your foal.
